World Environment Day - 5 June 2009

It's World Environment Day - 5 June 2009

and they have a movie out, called "Home"

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.

The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.

For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.

HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.
Yann Arthus-Bertrand

the good news is, you can watch it free online until June 14th 2009
it runs for 1:33:18

But just imagine watching it on a big screen, it'd be so much better.
I think I'm getting goosebumps just watching the trailer,
Our Home really is Magnificent and Beautiful.
Please help save our Home :)

btw,
no wonder some of the images in "Home" seem familiar.
I know that it's by Yann Arthus-Bertrand
but I just realized that he's the same guy that photographed "The earth from above"
I saw his outdoor exhibition in Milan, Italy
and this is one of my favorite picture.
Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park, USA.
